Born in 2002 in Helsinki, Finland, Heke, a visionary director and executive producer, began his filmmaking journey at age 10, crafting his first stop-frame animation with an 8mm Bolex camera. After studying at the prestigious Paris Film Institute Lumière and honing his craft in Germany, he returned to Helsinki, where he spent 14 years developing his distinctive Scandinavian storytelling style. Heke later moved to Hamburg, Germany, blending Nordic creativity with German precision, before directing high-profile fashion campaigns in Milan, Italy. His global journey continued in Japan, Singapore, and China, where he helmed major projects like the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 campaign and produced a reality show for a renowned food channel.

Now based between London, UK, and Los Angeles, USA, Heke leads TWENTYFOUR fps, a boutique production company delivering 360-degree services—from concept to final mastering—for TV series, commercials, music promos, feature films, and documentaries. His early campaigns for LEAF, Coca-Cola, Saku Breweries, and Statoil, in collaboration with Leo Burnett Kontür, earned critical acclaim and advertising festival accolades, launching a decade-long career spanning markets in Australia, Japan, USA, UK, Mexico, South Africa, Brazil, France, Lebanon, Italy, Germany, Finland, Romania, Estonia, India, UAE, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Turkey, Egypt, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Russia, China, and Canada.

Heke’s work has garnered prestigious honors, including the Grand Prix (Grand Crystal) in 2006-07, finalist recognition at Cannes Lions, and multiple Gold and Silver awards at international festivals. In 2013, he contributed to a British biographical documentary, winning awards at the New York City and Ischia International Film Festivals for editing, directing, VFX, cinematography, and grading. His first independent feature, Chinaman Confidential, won Best Drama Film at the 2015 International EuroFilm Festival in Spain and was an official selection at CineFest in Los Angeles. Films like Encrypted, Mrs. Tomiko, and Chinaman Confidential are now featured on Amazon Prime’s premium content globally.

Recently, Heke produced a retrospective honoring the late Lee Alexander McQueen during London Fashion Week, a project he holds with pride. Currently, he is developing his third feature film, Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow, while continuing to create elegant, high-impact campaigns and small films that resonate worldwide.
